you step out of 45° into 20° of dry air, four times a day. the ac pulls the water straight out of your skin. your skin panics and pumps out oil to seal the leak.
so you're shiny by noon and tight by night. and you attack the shine — mattify, strip, exfoliate — which takes even more water out. you're not oily. you're thirsty.
so you added something. then something else. it got worse. you can't add your way out of heat. your skin doesn't need more products — it needs less heat, and more water.

kasanok means home. casa — house — and 옥, as in hanok: the korean house. two languages, one feeling. home translates everywhere, and seoul is where we make it. and yes, we're korean.
because home is the one place you walk in and peel the day off. your shoes. your makeup. your outside face. all of it.
that's the whole idea. we're the peeler club — the people who peel off the pressure, the "shoulds," and come back to themselves. kasanok is the home. peeling off is how you get there. 🏠
why i started
adding more became way too normal. women add more, do more, buy more — then blame themselves when they still don't feel like themselves. (it was never their fault.)
more serums didn't help. more steps felt wrong. "just add one more" was the lie everyone agreed to. someone had to say it out loud.
what we're against
beauty has an addition problem. it's treated like something you build — more layers, more steps, more glow. nope. beauty isn't built.
adding is not the answer. peeling off is. and cooling is how you peel the day off.
